The Lookout, A River Retreat is absolutely perfect for a quiet retreat, family get-together, or special event. You're away from everything without being away from anything.
The beds were all incredibly comfortable. The bathrooms are amazing and fully stocked with everything you could need. The entire house is so well thought out – with lots of ways to enjoy the beautiful, natural surroundings.
The kitchen is fully stocked with really nice pots, pans, and bakeware. All the utensils you'd need plus a ton of extras you'd likely not think of or forget to bring (like cup koozies and ice buckets).
WOW. This home is really special. The location across from the river is so peaceful and picturesque and the way the place has been renovated and decorated is so thoughtful. It seems strange to remark on cabinets given all the other amenities, but the blue kitchen cabinets were so charming and one of my favorite things about the house! The porch swing on the screened in front porch was idyllic and such an inviting place to rest. We didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit but it’s beautifully situated and such an ideal spot to gather with friends and connect over drinks and stories. The upstairs was beautiful too and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. You can see the river from the angled skylight windows and it was such a peaceful way to wake up.
